The Belgium international put in a transfer request last week and has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Benteke was allowed to miss the club's three-match tour of Germany by Villa manager Paul Lambert and there was some doubt as to whether he would turn up.
But he is back in the West Midlands and with his team-mates as they continue their pre-season preparations.
Benteke joined Villa from Belgian side Genk for 7million in August and scored 23 goals in 39 matches as he made an immediate impact during his first season in English football.
