Jores Okore: Ready to prove his worth after regaining fitness

Okore, who joined Villa from FC Nordsjaelland in the summer, saw his pre-season preparations interrupted by a hamstring injury.

The 21-year-old, who is currently away on international duty with Denmark, started Villa's last two games prior to the international break and he is happy with his start to life at Villa Park.

Okore is now ready to make his mark at Aston Villa and show manager Paul Lambert what he is capable of.

"I hurt my hamstring in pre-season, but I am feeling good now and I'm feeling comfortable," he told the Birmingham Mail.

"I don't feel anything in my hamstring any more. Now I just need to get some air in my lungs and then I'm good to go.

"I feel fine now and I feel confident.

"I'm really happy, it's been a great start for me with great players and they've really taken me in well."
